TV tuner software

I just got a new job working desktop support at the university I go to, and today my boss asked me to install an OLD OLD OLD tv tuner (it came from a gateway from like 1998). I got drivers installed, but I can't find any software for it. Any recommendations for some TV tuner software that is resonably easy to use?

Re: TV tuner software

I'm also interested in this type of software, because I'm looking at getting this capture device (with component input) to use along with the tuner boxes that satallite/digital cable providers force you to use. I figured it would be pointless to get another tuner if I'm forced to use the one in the set-top box.

Anyhow, I'd like to thank you for the link as well ripfire. You might also want to look up Cyberlink's Powercinema, skiwreck. There were a few problems with it when FS did their Theater 550 roundup, but it's another option.

I'm interested in hearing about any other programs that people know about to serve this function.
