Does Windows 7 have that terrible lag spike?

Ya know how Vista has that terrible lag spike problem when you're running the internet wireless?

Anyone know if Windows 7 fixed that issue?

I don't understand why they do this.  This just ruins online gaming.  Why would they not give you the option to turn it off?

I still haven't noticed any lag spikes while gaming online. This is over a trendnet USB wireless N adapter. I've been quite pleased so far with Win 7.

There have been updates to many wireless drivers that also seem to help this issue in Vista.
