FiringSquad is proud to run Lithium message boards, the most full-featured forum technology available. This powerful software allows a great deal of customization, and all these options may be intimidating at first. All major topics are covered under the Help menu (accessible on the same line as My Profile).
Feel free to experiment with the various settings under "My Profile" (don't forget the other tabs, like "Preferences", "Subscriptions" and "Macros"), in order to find the options that suit your experience best.
Some of the more immediately useful options include the ability to re-arrange the order of our forums do your heart’s content, and the option to make a thread float or “sticky” to the top for yourself, so you may easily watch its progress. To move a forum to the top of the list, go to the main portal view and click the little blue “up” icon on the far side of the row with the forum’s name. To float a thread, click it, then choose the “thread options” drop-down menu on the left-hand side of the black bar, near “reply”, and select the “Float this Thread to the Top” button. As time passes, we’re sure you’ll quickly grow acquainted and accustomed to the numerous unique and powerful features they offer our users.
You'll note that UBB-style code is absent in Lithium boards, in favor of HTML. There are many HTML tutorials available out in the world wide web, but if you'd rather dispense with the hassle, Lithium has an easy-to-use graphical text editor that works with Internet Explorer 5.5 or better.
