Ohhh, I don't need a gaming laptop that bad but Core i7, GT550m, 8gb Mem all in a portable 14" form factor for a mere $750 is tantalizing.  It's not much of a looker but the specs put my M11x to shame and compares handily with the M14x which is nearly twice this price.

Can anyone find a weight on this guy?  I'm contemplating selling off my M11x and jumping on this assuming it's light and compact enough. 

edit:  4.8lbs  Not super light but compares to the M11x.  I just weighted it and even the 13" MacBook Pro is 4.5lbs.

For $750 that looks like a nice deal. To bad I need to make a house payment this week.

Edit: Also, Lenovo is pretty badass when it comes to laptops and desktops.

Laptop arrived this morning.  After cleaning off all the bloatware it benched 1200 in 3DMark 2011.  That's just shy of a similarly equipped M14x which literally costs twice as much!
