Yeah its an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro... come to think of it I have alot of Arctic Cooling things in my case. Freezer 64 Pro, NV Silencer, Arctic Fan 12, Arctic Fan 12025, Arctic Fan 9225... lol my rig could be an Arctic Cooling sales pitch!!! :smileyvery-happy: I really like how much quieter these Arctic Fans are. They are much quieter than my old stock Thermaltake fans and they pump out about twice as much air.

Anyways yeah i could do a little more on the cables but I'm gonna wait till i get an Asus mobo and new PSU. I'm trying to make my computer a little more future friendly but so far I'm very impressed with the parts that i have. My Gigabyte mobo is running my 3000+ Venice at 289 FSB (2.6Ghz) without any problems. I could probably take it higher but the voltage limitations on this motherboard just really suck, I can't go above 1.55v unless i want to jump to 1.65 or higher. :smileysad: It's really annoying. I am trying to upgrade a little at a time so i don't have to take out a loan or seomthing. :smileyhappy:

WOW!!! I was gonna answer your question really easily and post a link.... but no one carries my memory anymore. Its been discontinued. But what i picked up was the TWINX1024-3200XLPT It was their 1GB (2x512MB) kit. That had 2-2-2-5 mem timings. Truthfully I wish i hadn't bought them... even though they can handle some really crazy speeds. But I paid almost $200 per 1GB for these babies. I could be running 4GB of DDR4000 for that much. :smileytongue: Oh well... It was one of those... I'm gonna get the best... moments where you just look at a single company and not the rest. But I've learned my lesson. Anyways the memory can handle some pretty nice settings its running at PC4000 right now i believe with 2.5-3-3-8 but I may be mistaken.

Re: Forum member rig pics. 56K Warning........

i thought they looked familiar :smileywink: i have the same -only just 2x512mb. by have 4x512 do you have to run them at 2T? i remember paying $200 for mine as well -though back then Corsair were the only good brand i could find in HK -apart from Kingston.

NOW you can pay $200 for 2gb of PC4000 ram but back then you couldnt -so you didnt really get ripped off. i'm about to donate my twinx to my gf's pc so i can run these:

Re: Forum member rig pics. 56K Warning........

He he.  Yeah that PSU is WAY overkill but I had an extra one just sitting around so I figured I might as well pop it in rather than spending more money on a new one.  I can always swap it out later with something of more proportional later.  The hard drive, case, and case fans were also spares so really, the whole system was CPU ($160), mobo ($60), mem ($75), and xp90 ($30) = $325 which is just over my $300 ideal budget.

Re: Forum member rig pics. 56K Warning........

Well it's not exctly dual screens but they are both sitting next to each other and are both 21" BEASTS I got when my company went to throw them out.  The one is hooked up to a 4-way KVM w/ 3 computers and the other to a 2-way KVM w/ 2 more computers.  The table is a plain jane banquet table.  It's surprisingly handling the weight just fine for now.  Another few months and I"m sure it will start to get a nasty bow in it though.

Ha ha ha...  I got you HP laserjet dinosaur right here.  Laserjet IIP, manufacture date, 1991.  :smileytongue:

I had to retire it due to its inability to print any sort of graphics what so ever.  I can't bring myself to throw it away though since it still prints text crisp as can be.  It has been officially replaced by an el-cheapo Konica Minolta laser printer that has be a very loyal subject for over 2 years now.

Re: Forum member rig pics. 56K Warning........

Thx for the kind comments man.  The stacker is a dream to work in.  Cooling is obviously a high point.  I have 4 120mm fans in it which push and pull the air a bit but since the case is so big and the entire side panel is perforated, it's hard to get any sort of actual air-flow pattern.  Not that there is any shortage of fresh air in it through with the open style side panel.  I have no complaints with its cooling ability.  The mobo tray is awesome.  It can be mounted regularly as I have it or upside down if you want the case to open up on the left.  I never realized how much I would love having a removable mobo tray until I started using it.  The front bay door too can be hinged either way depending on preference.  The thing is sturdy as hell, has tons of room, and everything (besides the stupid hard drive cage) is tool less.

Really, the only complaints I have at all is that the hard drive cage is way over-engineered and frankly, kind of a pain to use.  Not sure if it is a 'con' or not but since the case is so big, many of your PSU cables are stretched to their limit just to reach the components.  Finally, the side panel can sometimes rattle a little.  It doesn't bother me in the least but some of the silence loving computer users out there might take issue with it.

It’s a sweet case.  I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

visioneer; I put a 5 volt power cord into it but its limit is 3.3 volts. Worked for like 2 weeks. What ever, the camera was garbage anyway.

smitty; You have 2 graphics cards in SLi, right? The last time I checked you needed an SLi bridge connector for SLi to work. Am I missing something?

Edit; I just realized, smitty, that the last 2 pictures had the bridge connector =P.

Ok. I got my PC done for a while now. I like it the way it is for the time being. :smileyhappy: Check out the pics.

Also the monitor I am using at the moment. It is pretty much made for TV only. Not too good for PC gaming but still huge. I run 1280x960 I think it is on it. Pretty cool though. 27" is nice to play on hehe. Not NEARLY as good for gaming as my 21" CRT but it works for the time being.

Ok, sorry. It was late when I posted them. Here is specs.

3200+ Venice @ 2.4
DFI Lanparty NF4-D
Sapphire X1800XT 256 w/ Accelero X2
2gig (4x512) Crucial Ballistix DDR500 2.5-3-3-7
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
Thermaltake Armor
Thermaltake BigWater SE (very affordable water cooling for newbs. :smileyhappy: 120$ at ZZF. Throughout the year this is probably the only thing I will mess with. I like it, but I want a custom kit. LoL)
160gig Maxtor Sata drive. ( This thing is still rocking and been in 3 different setups.)
NEC 3550+1300 DVD Burners
Vantec Nexus Fan Controller
3 stock fans, 2x92mm (one is rigged down at the bottom to keep chipset and VC extra cool) 1x120mm front intake.
1x120mm CM Silent UV for radiator cooling.
Logitech MX510
Saitek Gamers Keyboard
Apex 27" LCD TV/Monitor as of now. Looking into a 20.1" or 24" actual new monitor. The max res and response rate for this thing kind of suck.

Oops. Forgot the speakers I am on now. :smileyhappy:  Klipsch Promedia Ultras.

Very slick setup there Acyd...I can see where your tax money went this year.

Oh can you?  Because I didn't get a dime in tax money this year. Uncle Sam said I owed them money for getting out of the Air Force early. They took it all. :smileywink: Most of this I already had. I just didn't have it all the way I wanted it.

Ahhh,  sorry to hear that.  That's like not getting anything for X-mas..:smileyindifferent:  Anyway, I understand now why you didn't pick up the hardware I had for sale.

Yea, big crock of shit. :smileysad: Nothing I could do either. My paperwork I have on it doesn't help me any. Just got hustled, but screw em, they still owe me college. Hehe

Pissed me off because I wanted that stuff for other purposes. :smileysad:
