Another pricing question: graphic cards

For those that have been following component prices for a while, what usually happens to the price of a particular model of a video card when a new generation is released? For example, will a GTX 560 drop dramatically in price when the 660 comes out?  The cheapest 560's on newegg are currently $180/$190. I'm assuming the 660 will take over this price point upon release. What do you expect to happen to the 560 price?

Re: Another pricing question: graphic cards

I would not be expecting a dramatic price drop anytime soon, but you may catch some good manufacturer rebates. But only time will tell for sure. For somewhat of a comparison, the GTX 680 has now been out for a few weeks but the 580 is only 50 bucks less (at least from EVGA, and granted the 580 is still a beastly card). Furthermore, if you look on ebay the GTX460's are still fetching up near $100. There is a new GTX 480 on newegg for $250 (now 2 generations old).
