I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, at a suite party, trying to get some srz bzns done, and I ran into this guy named Tom Colarusso. He was wearing a TF2 Pyro shirt. Now, regardless of the fact that he was dressed inappropriately for a swank party, I decided to approach him and make known that wearing a Pyro shirt in front of a bunch of my boys was akin to wearing red in Crips territory.

Short of launching into a Warriors-style free-for-all, we opted to take the battle online. Strong Words were spoken. Challenges were issued. The Icrontians rose up to the call of arms, and now we are publically calling you FiringSquad punks out. Bring it. Bring it to Dustbowl. Bring it to Gold Rush. Bring it to Badwater Basin. We're ready. 

I'm calling out you personally, Dr. The Toolbag Colarusso. Put on your Pyro shirt, wipe the cheeto dust off your upper lip, and meet me in the game.

Do you guys even have your own server? It's okay, you can use ours.

So, get your "best" players together, and feel free to embarass yourselves in various ways.

Tom Colarusso is Yoda_Blues.  This seems pretty legit.  Too bad I'm not any good at Team Fortress 2 and my video card just failed.

I must say though, Icrontic seems like a pretty cool tech website.  Sure, it ain't FS, but it's neat.

We delete them and remove all traces of their existance from our site. Then we sign them up to furry, adult friend finder, and Scientology self-help mailing lists. And then we sit back and have a cup of tea.

We used to bother commenting and replying. Now we just delete and move on. Luckily, we have a pretty big forum staff to handle that, plus pretty damned good filtering on the registration side of things. Spam is no longer an issue at IC.

Okay, but seriously though: I had no idea there was a disconnect between the forum community and "the staff" - my apologies. I think we're dealing with a bit of culture shock here, nothing more.

At any rate, if anybody from FS (I saw 28 members in the FS steam group, not 2!) would like to play with us, we would love the friendly rivalry. We're all very good friends in real life, and have made friends with rival gaming "clans" in the past, to the point where many of them now sleep on my living room floor. If you'd like to add shortmediaprime (that's me) to your steam friends, and join us any evening, let me know. If our server is full (it often is) send me a message and we'll make room for you

I can't say I've ever played this Tee Eff Too you speak of but if you want to throw down in a point and click adventure-off I'll have bested the antagonist in a cut down version of chess before can stuff a ladder down your pants or combine a clamp, rubber duck, band-aid, and clothline.

We're mostly TF2 and Left 4 Dead. We played UT2k4 heavily back in the day, but as a community, never really took to UT3. Even after UT3 came out we were playing 2K4 at our LAN parties, etc.

nowadays, it's all about the Valve.

I suck at TF2. Course I have only played it a few times. Might crashcourse myself this weekend. I love the artistic standpoint. Just for me to like a game, I need to know the maps inside and out. Only played 2 whole matches, if that though.
