Never had a problem with aim running while playing games. Then again, I don't get messages on aim, I use Naim for BSD instead. I only really have aim open so I can check away messages and stuff, something you can't do in naim. Regardless, I have over 100 people on my buddy list for Aim and it just be easier to get somehow get this to work with that. Or maybe set XFire up to connect to the aim servers, like trillian and other messenger programs. That be nice, then I would totally use it.
