Re: Transco's Hardware sales

I have a couple of potential buyers for all of this stuff.  Neither are definite...

I'll take $125+shipping for all of this stuff.  If not, Ebay here I come.  :smileyhappy:

$125 for everything? You are the devil in a blue dress. If I knew for sure that my wife was 100% going to buy a bedroom TV I'd do it and make a small media extender.

Re: Transco's Hardware sales

^ So do you have a computer in the bathroom too?  :smileyvery-happy:

I'm not getting alot of promising bites.  Hell, maybe I'll just keep this rig.  All I'd need is a small harddrive for the OS.  I could install Windows Storage Server using iSCSI and end up with a network storage box.  Then I could get that small Silverstone case you linked in the other thread (as the RAID HDDs would stay in this box).

It is a a bit of a luxury having an entire box running all the time as a network storage solution.  Kinda wasteful IMO.   Someone buy my crap already....  :smileytongue:

Ya, I was thinking, put a 30" TV in the bathroom and then.....hehe. That equipment is perfect (well except for the card) for a small storage server solution, but you have to ask yourself the question "How geek do I want to get?"

So you still have everything? If so what size is that motherboard?

Yes, I stil have everything.  Here's a link to the motherboard.  However, my coworker may take the whole system off my hands.  I'll know for sure tomorrow.  I had forgotten that I had a spare OCZ 620w PSU and now a spare HDD.  So, if the PSU is good, I've got a complete system.

It actually played Crysis 2 Demo at 1920x1080, 4xAA without hiccupping.

Anyhow, I'll post back; if he doesn't want it we can deal if you are still interested.

That is a good thing, because even though I wanted them....I didn't NEED them (plus I just bought two 15" subwoofers I'm going to use as a home subwoofer project).
